If you would like a quote or are looking for information about what we do contact our Sales team in the first instance.  If your enquiry needs the more specialised attention of another team or staff member we will transfer you to the right person immediately.  Our Sales, Orders & General Enquiries team can answer all your questions on the services we offer and how we can assist you with your shipping requirements, and are available to provide costs when requested.  They also set-up and monitor all orders placed for shipment with us and are your first point of contact to arrange movement of your goods.  This includes all means of transport including seafreight consolidation and shipping, routings, transit times, airfreight consolidation and handling, as well as break-bulk cargoes and coordination of end-to-end transportation.

Trevor Hastie

Managing Director & Owner

Trevor has made the Customs & Freight industry his life, and has worked in many different areas of the industry including general transport, freight forwarding, Customs brokerage, and a stint with the New Zealand Customs Service, before the ownership of dedicated freight forwarding businesses.  International Freight Logistics NZ Ltd is a family-owned business which started in 1998 in Dunedin by Trevor and his family to put the ‘personal’ back into ‘personal service’ in an industry that is increasingly dominated by offshore owned multi-nationals lacking the understanding of, and interest in, New Zealand’s unique transport and shipping requirements and the challenges that come with them.


Paul Nicholls

Import Manager

IFL’s Import team is headed by Paul Nicholls, a fully qualified New Zealand Customs PIN-holder, who has many years of experience in the shipping, freight forwarding and customs industry, and whose vast experience is a huge benefit to our Customers as he makes the import process painless. IFL is able to assist with clearance requirements on all shipment types arriving into New Zealand and regularly coordinates the requirements of multiple regulatory authorities, including the New Zealand Customs Service and Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI).  Our import services further extend to transport, container deconsolidation, Customs / MPI inspections and cleaning requirements when necessary.  Our aim is always to make the process as simple as possible for you.


Nadene Moore

General Manager

Nadene has also spent her working career in the freight forwarding industry and has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of how to fit the “jigsaw pieces” of shipping and freight forwarding together.  She has experienced the industry from the ground up and has the practical and operational abilities that come from years of working closely with Customers and managing their shipping needs.  Nadene is the face you will see most often representing IFL.


Shonagh Laverty

Export Manager

Exports at IFL are headed by Shonagh Laverty, who is a fully qualified New Zealand Customs PIN-holder, and has spent many years in the freight forwarding and logistics industry in New Zealand with an emphasis on operational processes.  For your export requirements our team provides a full service coordinating bookings, equipment supply, documentation, and shipment monitoring for all shipment types including airfreight, seafreight, courier, break-bulk and project cargoes. We can provide assistance with all Shipping Line documentation and FTA Certification where required, as well as transport, packing and securing for shipment.  We’re here to help, so please ask if we can be of assistance.


Sam Ramage

Shipping Administrator

Sam is our Shipping Administrator, who works predominantly within the Import team.  Sam has had a strong interest in the Freight Forwarding industry for many years, and has recently become a fully qualified New Zealand Customs PIN-holder.  With his knowledge of Customs brokerage, along with his passion for the industry, Sam prides himself on providing you with an exceptional Customer Service experience.
